Grilled Cabbage

1 head of cabbage, quartered
butter
bacon crumbles
seasoned salt

4 squares of aluminum foil to wrap each quarter

Butter each quarter of cabbage generously. Sprinkle seasoned salt all over each quarter. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on each quarter also. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Grill or bake in oven at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes to an hour.

I had never thought to grill cabbage before, but this is so good and wilts the cabbage. What's not to love with butter and bacon also?!

Jalapeno Poppers

10 Jalapeno peppers, capped, cut in half length-wise, and seeded
1/2 block cream cheese, room temperature
shredded cheddar cheese
few dashes of Worshershire sauce
dash of garlic powder
bacon, cut in half, cooked halfway through

Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Worshershire together in small bowl. Fill halved jalapenos with cheese mixture. Wrap with half a slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick if needed. Bake at 400 degrees on wire rack on baking sheet for about 20 minutes or until bacon is crispy and cooked thoroughly. These will disappear fast, so make more than you think you will need!
